Dana Kuehn Testimonial Regarding Sign Stealing Incident November 6, 2006
Campaigning has been a wonderful experience with one exception, Judge Wall’s supporter Diane Howe.
The other evening my family and I were putting out campaign signs in requested locations, when we were heading home. I was on the phone when I looked up and saw a grown woman carrying a large amount of my signs and then stuffing them in the trunk of her BMW. My husband and father got out of the car and asked her what she was doing, and she said, “It is none of your business.” After asking numerous times for the signs back that she was still shoving in her trunk, they yelled for me to call the police, which I did. Underneath my signs was a new packet of Judge Wall signs. The woman speed off with her trunk open. We got the tag number.
None of us were surprised when the police came and the tag revealed who the thief was, it was Diane Howe. We all knew the name, but did not know what she looked like before that evening.
How did I know her name? In June after I received a key endorsement that Judge Wall did not receive, a slanderous email about me and my family was sent to try and persuade the entity to reconsider Judge Wall. It written by a dhowe1@cox.net. *
We also noticed a nasty post on Batesline at that same time speaking ill of my police endorsements **. We had no idea who this horrid person was. So, we called and researched. A very good friend and attorney called me and told me that he knew her as she testifies in divorce cases.
The attorney called Diane Howe who talked to him as he took notes. She stated that Judge Wall was her best friend, that she was campaigning for her, and even invited him to a function for the Judge in which she stated he could “visit with her and have a glass of wine at Biga.” Then, the attorney saw Diane Howe and Caroline Wall handing out literature together at the Fair.
Earlier this month we find out that Diane Howe has emailed the Tulsa World in favor of Judge Wall.
My husband and I were not at the jail at midnight when Diane Howe was booked, and have no personal knowledge if the Judge was present. However, we do not think the officers and jail staff are liars, nor would we ever call them such.
I was a victim of a crime by someone that is helping Judge Wall. I am disappointed that the Wall campaign has not apologized for the behavior of Diane Howe. I am not surprised that the Press Releases she has posted are full of “It wasn’t me” and “I don’t know her.” I believe that the Judge did not know that Diane Howe was going to steal my signs from the Coldwell Banker Building that evening. I do believe that Diane Howe is her friend and avid supporter.

**Dana Kuehn's use of the area police department's endorsements is scary. Our system has checks and balances...not rubber stamps. How can she claim to be "fair" if she is in lockstep with the police and district attorney. That is injustice....not justice
